The Klassik is 100% rent restricted for households earning 30-80% of the county’s median income. After being unsuccessful in obtaining 9% LIHTC’s, the Northpointe team was able to quickly pivot to find the sources necessary to utilize the site deemed a high priority for redevelopment by the City of Verona. This included moving forward with non-competitive 4% LIHTC’s along with TIF from the City of Verona, AHP Funds from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, Dane County Funds, United Way Funds, Dane County Workforce Housing Funds, and primary and subordinate financing from WHEDA.
